A fixed electric supply price, measured in cents per kWh. It will begin at the next meter read date after ComEd processes your enrollment and continue until the meter read date in May 2014.

6.011 cents per kWh

ComEd Electric Space Heat Rate:

6.011 cents per kWh

ComEd Basic Electric Service rate in effect June 1, 2013, including the Purchased Electricity Supply Charge, Transmission Services Charge and the Purchased Electricity Adjustment Charge (PEA) Charge. For comparison purposes, the ComEd PEA charge is estimated at 0.5 cents per kWh but can vary monthly.

* Savings estimates are illustrative and based on a comparison of the mc2 rate to the comparable ComEd Basic Electric Service rate in effect June 1, 2013, including the Purchased Electricity Supply Charge, Transmission Services Charge, and the expected Purchased Electricity Adjustment (PEA) Charge.  The Illinois Commerce Commission's Plug-In-Illinois website states "It is expected that the Purchased Electricity Adjustment for the period until May 2014 will be a charge of 0.5 cents per kWh."

Small Business Customers

The new mc² electricity supply rate will yield between 14% and 22%* savings off the ComEd electricity supply rate. Your individual saving will vary based the comparable ComEd tariff rate and your electrical usage.

mc² Electricity Rate

4.990cents per kWh

A fixed electric supply price, measured in cents per kWh, available to small business customers that consume 15,000 kWh or less annually. It will begin at the next meter read date after ComEd processes your enrollment and continue until the meter read date in May 2014.

ComEd Commercial Watt-hour Rate:

6.425 cents per kWh

ComEd Com. Demand (0-100 kW) Rate:

6.411 cents per kWh

ComEd Non-Res. Space Heat Rate:

5.811 cents per kWh
